For Dior Winter at Saint-Honoré and New Bond Street, Acierta developed, produced and installed a sculptural chair arch designed to appear as if it were floating inside the boutiques. The main challenge was to create a visually light installation with no visible anchors, supports or mechanical connections.

The concept required a technical solution that could adapt to the existing structure of each store while preserving the elegance and clarity of the final composition. The result was a seamless winter retail installation where the structural complexity remains hidden, allowing customers to experience the piece as a refined, suspended gesture within the Dior boutique environment.

Acierta’s work focused on transforming the creative idea into a safe, buildable and visually flawless installation. To achieve the floating effect, the team developed a bespoke structure that used the existing architecture of the boutiques to support the upper modules of the arch without exposing the fixing system.

The project required three pre-assemblies to test and refine the solution before the final installation. Each chair was joined to the next, every opening was covered, and all traces of mechanical connection were carefully concealed. The arch was installed in modules, progressively assembled on site and finished by an artistic team dedicated to refining every visible detail.

The assembly of the arch required approximately twelve hours, reflecting the precision needed to achieve a result where the engineering disappears and the final experience feels effortless.
