Acierta Retail delivered the technical development, production, and installation of SKIMS Swim's first UK pop-up at the Selfridges Corner Shop in London. Created to launch the brand's swimwear collection, the installation transformed the retail space into a contemporary interpretation of an iconic 1980s Los Angeles swimming pool, combining sculptural architecture and premium material finishes to capture the spirit of Californian leisure while showcasing Acierta's expertise in delivering technically refined experiential retail environments.
Large fibreglass panels finished in high-gloss lacquer created smooth architectural surfaces, complemented by polished stainless steel details that introduced reflection and depth throughout the space. Sculptural stair elements were formed using cement plaster, adding texture and reinforcing the installation's architectural character.
Together, these materials created a contemporary environment that balanced precision, durability, and visual simplicity while evoking the clean aesthetic of modern Californian design.
The combination of sculptural forms, reflective finishes, and carefully considered spatial composition created an engaging customer journey that reinforced the brand narrative while providing a memorable setting for the launch of SKIMS Swim in the UK market.
